Well, I had a good run with you facebook, but I am unsatisfied with the user experience and I’m taking my information back. It’s time for us to part ways, because, I’m simply spending too much time here, for far too little benefit, and I feel that im sharing too much information about myself with far too wide an audience. While I do plan to check in now and again for important things, facebook will no longer be one of my primary ways of contact with people. Broken chat, broken messaging, and arbitrary restrictions, are some more reasons that I can no longer rely on this service.

While I will be happy to get a lot of my time back, the flipside of this is that facebook has allowed me to connect with my friends with a lot higher frequency and I must admit, I became addicted to the feedback I get on things I post, and to reading all of your posts as well.

But even that though, no longer suits my chosen method of interaction. I want more than 420 characters, I want the freedom to post whatever I want and control it’s accessibility and permanency myself. Luckily, I have a blog and a proper website, where I will continue to post my thoughts and schedule.

I tried and it works, get your contacts quick before facebook closes this hole. (they used to allow applications to export this information, but no longer do, the yahoo workaround above is still currently working)

So, I’ve deleted all my FB info, exported all my contacts, and i’m saying sayonara. Look for an email or a phone call from me if i want to hang out or talk. Before you say, “you’ll be back!”.. Sure, I will, now and then to post an update, but I simply won’t be spending as much time on the site as I have been.

Set of the night goes to Dust for laying down a slick old school prog set on mostly vinyl, full of classics that i haven’t heard in years but knew every beat of from back in the old school glory days of trance.

Such an awesome vibe, it was a lovefest, people were being so free and unihibited, i was getting warm fuzzies all night watching people expand their hearts to the size of the room and beyond. the trance n’ intentional dance scene here is wonderful, i am happy to have found an appreciative crowd for these sounds. BTW, I have lots more great tracks from that era/style to showcase, no bookings currently lined up, available to do some chakra poppin on the island or coast anytime again soon!)
